Yeah, the eye candy is definitely nice isn't it. :)

Christine - Thank you and yes it was a lot of fun.

Kasey - Yep, lots of fun and I loved it. Isn't ComicCon out in San Diego? I've been wanting to go there too. It looks like that would be a great Con as well.

DragonCon isn't only fun but offers wonderful workshops regarding writing, film and tv, games and graphics, costume designs and so forth.

I think every writer, especially if you write sci/fi, paranormal, high fantasy, will find it beneficial for their writing careers to attend DragonCon or another type of sci/fi con. I also believe that the environment can inspire all writers regardless of their genres.

Thank you everyone. I really love hearing everyone's thoughts. Thanks again for sharing. Have a wonderful day.

HUGS,

JD :)J D Elliotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14423720190029420674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8775593204470937809.post-267085024565043912010-09-11T19:49:59.977-05:002010-09-11T19:49:59.977-05:00That looks like so much fun! I love fantasy novels, LOTR, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Sookie Stackhouse, and so on! Not to meniotn all the fun superhero films.

I actaully did my thesis on Harry Potter. I know the movie version is a little young for me, but the fictional character in the book was born in the same year as me, so I have a little cursh on Harry Potter. :)

Oh, and I grew up on a farm far from everyone too, but with two younger sisters. We dressed up a lot, made up our own games and I read a lot! Especailly in the cold winters that we have in Minnesota.Kaseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08021206584119138150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8775593204470937809.post-15796574081060797782010-09-09T13:36:35.239-05:002010-09-09T13:36:35.239-05:00awesome photos~looks like a lot of fun!awesome photos~looks like a lot of fun!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05383099148014297450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8775593204470937809.post-25862232098754647652010-09-09T10:36:08.773-05:002010-09-09T10:36:08.773-05:00that is so awesome JD!
